Blade Technology – Structural Analysis Engineer
The Wind Blade Structural Design Department within Blade department is responsible for the Windturbine Blade Structural Design. Contributes to the design specifications, certification process and supports manufacturing and in-service Windturbine Blades.

You will be doing this by supporting the team on the design of the Windturbine Blades.
The position grade profile is based on the assessment of the qualifications and professional experience.
Your key responsibilities will be:
Participate of the technical development of our blades and collaborate from the early conceptual design phase to the detail design phase, prototyping, testing and certification.
Structural analysis of Wind Turbine Blades;
Structural specifications for manufacturing;
Elaborate reports for Wind Turbine Blades certification;
Develop and validate structural design rules;
Design and develop analysis tools;
What you need to make a difference
Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change.
The ideal candidate must have an engineering background with composite material sciences and structural mechanics.
Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or allied disciplines (Aerospace Engineering, Naval Engineering, etc.)
Composite design and composite structural mechanics
Self-driven with high accountability;
Willingness to learn and to develop knowledge proactively;
Availability to travel to Wind Turbine Blades factories and Wind farms;
Willing to work in a multi-cultural environment.
Following experiences would be consider:
Experience in Wind Turbine Blade structural analysis;
Experience in product development projects;
Experience with ANSYS and ABAQUS;
Experience with Siemens NX/Fibersim and CATIA V5/CPD;
