To support the Electrification growth journey, (DPD) Electrification Business Unit is strengthening the development team with several new positions in software, control, and electrical engineering.
This is the reason we are looking for a Development Engineer, Filters to join the Electrification product development team.

As a Development Engineer at Danfoss, you will become an active part of a passionate team with an innovative working atmosphere working across the world in a global setup.
By taking this exciting opportunity to join us as our Development Engineer, Filters in the Electrification team, your tasks will include:
• Development of filters for diverse types of power converters (e.g., AC/DC, DC/DC) ranging from kilowatt to megawatt power levels.
Design of inductive and capacitive components.
Work together with the team to develop complete power electronics converter solutions to meet customer needs.
Verification of component performance by testing them in the laboratory.
Write technical specification for the components.
Cooperate with our suppliers to ensure the best possible overall solution.
Work with simulation tools like e.g. Matlab/Simulink and Ansys Maxwell 2D/3D.
Background & Skills
We are looking for a person who:
• Hold a B.Sc. with several years of experience from industry or M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering.
Prior experience in laboratory testing in industrial or academic settings, and familiar with the laboratory equipment such as Oscilloscope, LCR meter, choke tester, and partial discharge (PD) tester will be advantageous.
Knowledge of different manufacturing methods of inductive components is seen as an asset.
In addition, we expect you to have good communication skills in English.
Additionally, you are a team player with good collaboration skills who can take initiative and you are eager to develop your skills, professionally and personally.
