That is why Danfoss Editron is now looking for a production engineer for our factory in Lappeenranta with an opportunity to work from home 1 day per week.
As a production engineer, you are responsible for planning, developing, and optimizing production processes and ensuring the quality and efficiency of production. You may just be at the beginning of your career or a more experienced veteran. The most important thing is that you are an enthusiastic and learning-minded production technology professional.
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
Assembly process optimization
Designing tools for production
Negotiations with suppliers for new tools & equipment
Develop & improve processes, tools and methods by applying lean manufacturing principles
Bring new products into production in cooperation with product development
Diagnose & lead problem solving activities on production lines in a cross functional teams
Prepare standard work, process flow diagrams, time studies, process FMEAs, capability studies and control plans
Manages capital investment projects.
Trains personnel in new processes, methods, and use of equipment.
Reports progress on projects and activities in an effective manner to peers, management and customers

5+ years of experience from a similar position
Fluency in English both written and verbally
Experience in lean manufacturing principles & tools + problem solving methods
Motivated and systematic approach to work
A high degree of teamwork and analytical skills
Eager to learn and to self development
