Project Controls at Black & Veatch provides timely industry-best plans, schedules, forecasts and analyses to assist project management in achieving optimum project performance. Project Controls processes and tools are used to plan and schedule the scope of work, and to organize the as-sold budgeted costs to support monitoring, measuring progress, reporting, and forecasting the overall performance of a project.
Manager/Analyst position assigned to field Project Controls with supervisory responsibility over a group of project controls personnel. This individual will often supervise the work of others and is responsible for overall project performance management. This includes management and accountability for construction planning, scheduling, cost reporting and forecasting, earned value progress measurement, and risk & change management functions. Acts in capacity of a “lead person”. Has project team supervisory responsibilities.
Demonstrates the capability of leading the project control function of a project and able to influence internal and external clients. Lead facilitator of project forecasts. Recognizes issues and advises project team or JV partners on matters affecting project execution.
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management; or a nontechnical Bachelor’s degree with business and computer software-related coursework
Wind Power Generation project experience
Four-year Bachelor’s degree with six or more years of relevant Cost Control of Planning & Scheduling experience OR no four-year Bachelor’s degree required with eight years or more of relevant Cost Control or Planning & Scheduling experience in Home Office or Field Office.

Field-based position will be on an active construction project site. Speaking, reading, listening, understanding of project site safety.
Office environment: Sitting, talking, grasping, hearing, keyboard input, seeing, writing, reaching, climbing, kneeling, stooping, crouching, walking and standing for extended periods of time.
