For our global offshore Production Engineering department within Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy Nacelle in Brande, we are seeking an innovative and technically skilled Test Equipment Developer for New Product Introduction and New Plant set up projects.
How to contribute to our vision
Your key responsibilities will be to contribute the strategy for setting up test standards, development and installation of test equipment for new products introduction and releases, new production plant setup worldwide.
You will work closely with internal stakeholders such as production, production equipment development, R&D, procurement, quality and EHS. Test equipment covers simple I/O tests to high complexity tests such as rotational- and HV/PD tests.
You will be responsible for specifying requirement for development of new test equipment in close cooperation with our engineer department and our subcontractors who are manufacturing the equipment. The test developer is setting up the programming of test sequences and reports in special designed software and ensuring the coordinating of changes in test equipment and test procedures. Global responsibility for evaluate optimization suggestions from test operators support functions and maintain test specifications, test equipment and test procedures.
You will be responsible for design and validate test equipment according to local EHS standards and legal requirements in the specific region. Coordinate implementation of test equipment including FAT and SAT and
support Procurement with the appointment and selection of suppliers and technical advising.
Willing to travel 20 – 40 days per year

A structured team player with high communication skills, who thrives by securing that goals are met according to the schedule and strategy.
You hold a degree as electrical engineer / marine engineer or equivalent, combined with +5 years of relevant experience within the wind energy industry or similar, development of test equipment (hardware/software). You hold an extensive electrical understanding, but also a good understanding of mechanical systems as hydraulic and cooling systems. Experience with LabVIEW and national instruments products would be an advantage.
You used to work Project orientated environment and hold strong stakeholder management skill.
Experience with production automation processes and Industry4 would be an advance.
You possess the ability to work independently as well as in teams and you are good at collaborating with stakeholders at different areas of the organization
A high level of English is required both written and oral since it is the corporate language of Siemens Gamesa.
