Freedom Solar Power is currently seeking Inspections Coordinator. Reporting the Regional Operations Manager, the Inspections Coordinator plays a crucial role on the operations team as the primary inspection contact for the various AHJs that inspect our solar installations. The Inspections Coordinator is also the primary resource for resolving post-install items that must be completed prior to project closeout, including but not limited to monitoring troubleshooting, repairs, and aesthetic improvements. Other duties include but is not limited to:
Attending, facilitating, and documenting municipal and electrical utility inspections
Processing corrections to achieve passing grade on inspections
Maintaining and repairing residential solar equipment and wiring
Troubleshooting solar monitoring systems: eGauge, Enphase, Envoy, Solaredge Gateway Zigbee, and all associated wifi and radio technologies
Supporting installation of MDP upgrades, Tesla battery backup systems, and Tesla EV car chargers
Supporting electrical solar rough-ins and new construction solar rough-ins
Supporting residential solar installation teams
Completing post solar install punch list items
Assist other departments and duties as directed
Qualifications:
2+ years of solar installation experience
Active Residential Wireman or Journeyman Electrical license required
NABCEP Installer or Certificate of knowledge strongly preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to read and interpret drawings, sketches, layouts and wiring diagrams
Ability to work in various positions, including, but not limited to, stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling and squatting for extended periods of time
Be able to lift 50 pounds of weight frequently throughout assigned workday
Attention to detail, highly organized and process-oriented
A good driving record; must have a valid state driver’s license
Must be able to learn quickly and work well in a team environment
Must have excellent customer service skills
