Your tasks

As our Junior Consultant, your focus area will be the complete electrical system of an offshore wind farm including the offshore substation(s), submarine cabling (infield and export) and the grid connection. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will be working on offshore wind farms globally , taking on tasks such as:

• Supporting related project development activities from feasibility, thought tendering to execution incl.
  • Concept design & technology selection
  • Cable sizing and layout development
  • Coordination of system impact studies
  • Tender preparation
• Supporting diverse technical and commercial consulting services such as
  • technical due diligence
  • strategic advisory

Your qualifications

• A minimum of 1-3 years of working experience in engineering or project management in a professional environment related to offshore wind energy
• University level degree or Master of Science in electrical engineering or equivalent experience
• First experience with electrical wind farm design during project development, construction or operation phase
• General knowledge of primary and secondary electrical components like transformer, switchgear, control & protection cables etc.
• First experience with industry guidelines and best practises
• Experience with software (e.g. AutoCad, Eplan, PowerFactory or alike) used for the design of electrical energy systems is beneficial
