Roles and Responsibilities

• Design and develop cost-effective turnkey test solutions for production, service and PCBA supplies, based on the requirements set by organization.
• Define and improve test strategies and plans to drive productivity and quality.
• Ensure quality standards and principles are used throughout test development lifecycle.
• Interface with Design group (NPI) to provide support during new product launches and engineering releases.
• Partner with technology, manufacturing and quality teams to identify and resolve production test issues and recommend improvements.
• Create and periodically update the test requirements and design documentation.

Required Qualifications

• Electrical, Electronics or Computer Science Engineering degree along with over 2 years experience in Manufacturing Test Development.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience with designing, programming, integrating and troubleshooting data acquisition systems.
• Proficient in Labview or Lab Windows CVI, C/C++ and multithreading programming.
• Knowledge and experience with database programming, including SQL, Access and Excel
• Extensive experience with PXI and alternate switching hardware.
• Experience with GPIB, Ethernet TCP/IP, CANBUS, PROFIBUS, MODBUS AND DEVICE NET communications protocols.
• Experience in the field of telecommunication (SONET, SDH) systems
• Deep knowledge and experience with electronic test equipment
• Knowledge of three phase power systems or protective relaying principles.
• Strong analytical and problem –solving skills possess experience in the field of power systems
• Must be willing to comply with pre-employment screening, including but not limited, reference verification and background check
• Must have unrestricted Canadian work authorization.
