Summary of Role:
The New Homes Field Manager role is to serve as the main point of contact to SunPower stakeholders, Installation Partners (IP), building departments, and home builder-based teams, for any in field coordination. They are as the subject matter expert for all construction related to solar photovoltaic installations and new home build cycles. Relationship management with superintendents, sub-contracted crews and warehouse staff is a critical part of this role. To ensure a quality, accurate, and on time delivery of our solar installation is always met.
This position involves managing at the community and residential project (RP) levels: community kick off and ongoing meetings with superintendents, daily route planning, high volume of production schedule updates, bill of material accuracy, electrical and roof top installation accuracy, new product transitions, troubleshooting of solar systems, and ensure AHJ inspections of solar are occurring on time.
Day to day responsibilities include but are not limited to managing high volume of communities and residential projects, monitoring of team dashboards, communicating in real time to office-based staff, high volume of data entries directly into salesforce, and ensuring field based sub-contractor teams are working effectively and safely.
