Product Engineer

The Big Picture:

Howden Reciprocating and Centrifugal compressors (HCR), is a specialist supplier of tailor-made gas compression equipment to various industries. Our products have made a valuable difference for our clients for the past 100 years, and we are now looking for a Product Engineer who will join our team and assist us in making a valuable difference in the century to come.

The Product Engineer will be a core member of our engineering team that delivers solutions that meets customer tomorrow’s needs. In this position you will support sales & proposals as well as the teams active in project execution.

What needs to be done?

• Analyzing customer requirements and engineering customer-specific compressor solutions;
• Providing in-depth positive displacement (reciprocating & diaphragm) compressor expertise during sales, project execution, installation & commissioning and operating life of our equipment;
• Performing compressor and compressor system engineering analyses during contract execution;
• Maintaining internal standards;
• Proactively addressing opportunities for improvement in process, products and services.

What do you need to bring?

• MSc in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, or BSc in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with 3-5 years working experience preferably in a project organization and/or experience in process applications;
• Excellent problem solving skills;
• Focus on safety and quality;
• Excellent English language skills;
