Senior Engineer – Photovoltaic Projects PV

Our client, leading Spanish renewables company, is looking for a senior photovoltaic engineer to join his delegation in Krakow.

You will be working with his team based in Spain. The company has a strong presence and very new projects in sectors such as electric and renewable energy.

The successful candidate will be responsible for most of the elements of the technical evaluations involved in the development and design, of the PV Project.

You will have the opportunity to become the Country Manager of the company.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Technical review and specification of solar plant equipment, including photovoltaic modules, inverters, medium and high voltage equipment, trackers, etc
• Design of solar plant and dimensioning and optimization of photovoltaic panels.
• Develop plans and make calculations for a variety of elements with engineering.
• Negotiating EPC contracts from a technical perspective.
• Develop renewable energy projects and plans with some programs as “AutoCAD” “Wind Software” “PVSyst” and Microsoft Office. (70% photovoltaic and 30% wind)
• Provide direct or indirect support to engineer or engineering teams.
• Prepare Project reports.
• Management and processing of documentation with the public administration

REQUIREMENTS:

• Engineer´s Degree ( mainly electricity, structures and desirable telecommunications).

Minimum 3 years’ experience in the Solar PV industry or Wind Industry.

• Experience in PV plant design optimisation, targeting the lowest LCOE.
• Working knowledge of PV technologies, inverters, modules and tracking systems.
• Experience with commercial and/or utility-scale PV design.
• Essential English language Level B2.
